Recurring appointments let you schedule a regular client once and have MassageHub generate all future sessions automatically — weekly or every two weeks, as far ahead as you like.
Creating a recurring appointment
Open the calendar, drag to select a time slot (or tap the + button), and fill in the appointment details as normal. At the bottom of the form, tick Recurring appointment and choose the frequency:
- 1 week — repeats every 7 days
- 2 weeks — repeats every 14 days
Click Save series. MassageHub creates 16 weeks of appointments in one go, all showing a ↻ badge so you can spot recurring sessions at a glance.
The ↻ badge
Any appointment that belongs to a recurring series shows a small ↻ badge on the calendar block and the list tile. This lets you see at a glance which sessions are part of a series versus one-off bookings.
Stopping a recurring series
Open any appointment in the series and scroll to the action buttons. Tap Stop recurring series and confirm.
The appointment you tapped is kept. Only the appointments that come after it are cancelled. This means you can stop the series at any future point — for example, open week 6's appointment to stop the series from week 7 onwards, leaving weeks 1–6 intact.
How far ahead does it look?
MassageHub keeps 16 weeks of appointments in your diary at all times. A weekly background task automatically tops this up, so you always have roughly four months of upcoming sessions without any manual effort.
Linking a treatment package to a recurring series
If you grant a treatment package to a client who has recurring appointments, MassageHub automatically links all upcoming unlinked recurring appointments to the new package. You don't need to edit each appointment individually.
You can also link a package manually when creating the recurring series by selecting it in the Package dropdown (visible when the client has an active package). Credits are deducted when each appointment is marked complete — not at the time of booking.
Editing a single appointment in a series
Tap Edit on any appointment to change its details — time, service, notes, package, and so on. Changes apply only to that individual appointment and do not affect the rest of the series.
