How Justine got her new practice off the ground after a false start

Justine is new to massage. She offers menopause, fibrotherapy and Swedish massage and Reiki to women in Essex, and officially launched in September 2026. MassageHub wasn’t her first choice.

“I had originally downloaded another well-known booking system, because a therapist I’d used myself was using it. Her practice was similar to what I was trying to achieve, so I copied her booking system. It was appalling to set up and ended up delaying my business quite a lot, as I was avoiding trying to work out how to get it working. I did further research and a couple of people on a Facebook group mentioned MassageHub. I looked into it and liked how clean it looked.”

“Following people up. When there’s an automated process working in the background on your behalf, that’s hours freed up to concentrate on other things.”

Bookings from the right people

Justine runs a women-only practice. Before MassageHub, enquiries came in through Google and WhatsApp.

“My bookings are now all coming through MassageHub rather than via Google and WhatsApp, which means they are genuine ladies who are interested. Before, I had a lot of men messaging me, even though everything says that I’m a ladies-only practice. Using MassageHub is filtering out the people who aren’t my clients.”

“All of it saves me hassle. I now have a robust database, where my clients can quickly and easily rebook, although I do try to capture that for them before they leave the appointment. All the data is in one place. It works just as well from a desktop as it does from my phone.”

Her advice to other therapists

“It’s simple to set up, simple to use, you don’t have to be tied in, you don’t have to hand over any percentage and it’s a very reasonable price. What’s not to like?”
