A client asked their therapist if they could leave a tip — and there was no way to. Now there is. Tipping is off until you switch it on in Settings → Payments, and even then it stays gentle: a quiet line in the post-appointment review email and a dismissible card in the client area, never a hard sell. In the UK a tip is appreciated, never expected, and MassageHub treats it that way.
When a client does choose to tip, they're shown a few sensible round-pound amounts based on what their appointment cost, or they can enter their own. The payment goes straight to your connected Stripe account — 100% of it, with no MassageHub cut — and appears as a separate "Tips received" figure on your Income page so it never muddles your session revenue. If you take payment through an external link instead of Stripe, clients are sent there to tip, entering the amount themselves.
