MassageHub has a free app for iPhone and Android. Open massagehub.app/download on your phone and it sends you straight to the App Store or Google Play; on a computer it shows a QR code you can scan. It's the same MassageHub you already use, opening with one tap and keeping you signed in.
Prefer not to install from a store? You can also add MassageHub straight to your home screen from your browser, and enable push notifications so you're alerted the moment a client books or cancels.
Adding your dashboard to your home screen
On your phone, open your MassageHub dashboard and follow the steps for your device:
- iPhone / iPad (Safari): tap the Share button (box with an arrow) at the bottom of the screen, then tap Add to Home Screen
- Android (Chrome): tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner, then tap Add to Home screen
Your dashboard will appear as a full-screen icon on your home screen — no browser bar, no address bar, just MassageHub.
Enabling push notifications
Once your dashboard is open (in a browser or from your home screen), a prompt will appear asking if you want to enable notifications. Accept it and you'll receive an instant push notification whenever a client books or cancels — even when MassageHub isn't open.
- Desktop Chrome / Edge: the browser prompt appears automatically. Notifications show in the bottom-right corner of your screen via your system notification centre.
- Android Chrome: the prompt appears automatically after adding to home screen. Notifications appear like any other app.
- iPhone / iPad: you must add MassageHub to your home screen first (see above), then open it from there. A banner at the bottom of the screen will appear — tap Enable to turn on notifications. Safari then shows its own permission prompt.
If you already had MassageHub on your home screen (iPhone)
Push notifications were added after the original home screen shortcut was created. To get them working on iPhone, remove the existing icon and add it again: press and hold the icon → Remove App, then re-add via Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen.
Your clients can do the same
Your booking page also supports Add to Home Screen. Clients who book with you regularly can save your booking page to their phone using the same steps above — their icon will launch straight into your booking flow.
App or home screen — your choice
The home-screen option works entirely through your browser, with no download, using the same technology as progressive web apps (PWA). It's a handy alternative if you'd rather not install from a store. For most therapists the free App Store or Google Play app is the simplest way to keep MassageHub one tap away.
