Moving between Free, Pro and Plus takes about a minute. This is where the Plans page lives, what happens to your billing when you switch, and what to do if you can't see it.
Where to find Plans
Tap the cog for Settings. At the top of the page there's a banner showing the plan you're on — tap Manage on it and you land on Plans, where every plan is listed side by side with what it includes.
If you're using the Android app
The Plans page doesn't appear inside the Android app. Google Play doesn't let us sell plans in an Android app yet, so the plan banner and the Plans page are both hidden in there. Nothing is wrong with your account — you just need to change your plan in a browser instead. It takes a minute and everything you buy shows up in the app straight away.
Easiest on a laptop or tablet, but your phone is fine too:
- Open Chrome, or any browser, and type massagehub.app into the address bar. This part matters: if you tap a MassageHub link from an email, your phone hands it to the app and you end up back where you started.
- Sign in with your email and password. If you'd rather use a sign-in email, don't tap the link in it — type the code from that same email into the browser instead, for the same reason.
- Tap the cog for Settings, then Manage on the plan banner at the top.
- Choose your plan and confirm.
Then go back to the app. Your new plan and everything it unlocks will already be there.
If you're using the iPhone or iPad app
You can change plan without leaving the app. The payment goes through the App Store and Apple bills you directly, so there's no card to add in MassageHub, and you manage or cancel it in your Apple account settings rather than here. App Store pricing is set separately to cover Apple's own fees. Either way you get exactly the same features.
Upgrading
On the Plans page, the plan above yours shows Upgrade to Plus (or Upgrade to Pro). The new features switch on immediately — there's no waiting for your billing date.
You're not charged twice. If you already pay monthly, Stripe works out the difference for the rest of the month you've paid for and adds it to your next bill, so nothing is taken from your card on the day you upgrade. Your renewal date doesn't move.
Downgrading
A plan below the one you're paying for shows Downgrade to Pro, which opens the Stripe billing portal to make the change. Nothing you've already created is deleted when you drop down a plan — see what changed when paid plans launched for exactly what keeps working.
Monthly or yearly
The Monthly and Annual toggle above the plan cards switches the prices, and paying for the year usually works out cheaper than twelve monthly payments. There's more on switching between the two, and on choosing a plan while you still have free access, in what changed when paid plans launched.
Still stuck?
If the banner isn't there in a browser either, or the plan you picked hasn't appeared, get in touch and we'll sort it from our end.
