MassageHub can send an instant alert to your phone or desktop the moment a new booking arrives — no app to download, no constant tab-checking. It works like a native app notification, delivered straight to your device.

How it works

MassageHub uses your browser's built-in push notification system. When you log in to the dashboard, your browser may ask whether you want to allow notifications. Once you say yes, alerts are delivered even when the tab isn't open — as long as your browser is running.

You can also install MassageHub as an app on your phone (no App Store required) and receive notifications just like any other app.

Chrome — desktop and Android

  1. Open MassageHub and log in to the dashboard.
  2. When Chrome asks “Allow notifications?” at the top of the screen, click Allow.
  3. If you dismissed that prompt previously, click the lock icon (or info icon) in the address bar, find Notifications, and set it to Allow. Then refresh the page.

On Android, Chrome notifications work in the browser and also when MassageHub is added to your home screen.

Safari — macOS desktop

  1. Open MassageHub in Safari and log in.
  2. Safari will show a permission prompt — click Allow.
  3. If you missed it, go to Safari → Settings → Websites → Notifications, find MassageHub in the list, and change it to Allow.

Notifications arrive in macOS Notification Centre and also appear as banners while you're working in other apps.

iPhone and iPad (iOS — add to home screen)

Safari on iOS only supports push notifications when MassageHub is added to your home screen as a web app. Here's how:

  1. Open MassageHub in Safari on your iPhone or iPad and log in.
  2. Tap the Share button (the box with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then tap Add.
  4. Open MassageHub from your home screen icon (not from Safari).
  5. A banner will appear at the bottom of the screen asking if you want to enable notifications — tap Enable.
  6. iOS will then ask for permission — tap Allow.

After this, you'll receive booking alerts just like a native app, even when MassageHub isn't open.

Android — add to home screen

For the best experience on Android, add MassageHub to your home screen:

  1. Open MassageHub in Chrome and log in.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (top right) and choose Add to Home screen (or Install app).
  3. Open MassageHub from the home screen icon.
  4. If Chrome asks to allow notifications, tap Allow.

If you accidentally blocked notifications

If you tapped “Block” or “Not now” when the browser first asked, you can re-enable it:

  • Chrome desktop: Click the lock icon in the address bar → Notifications → Allow → refresh the page.
  • Chrome Android: Tap the lock icon → Site settings → Notifications → Allow.
  • Safari macOS: Safari → Settings → Websites → Notifications → find MassageHub → Allow.
  • iPhone/iPad: Go to Settings → MassageHub → Notifications and turn them on. (MassageHub must be on your home screen for this option to appear.)

Which events trigger a notification?

You'll receive a push notification for new bookings and cancellations. You can control which events send you an email or SMS alert separately — see Notification preferences.
