When paid plans go live, most of MassageHub stays exactly as it is — but some features will require a Plus or Pro plan to remain active. Here's exactly what to expect.

What stays free

The core of MassageHub — online booking, appointments, clients, services, availability, locations, Google Calendar sync, SOAP notes, intake forms, public profile, Fresha reviews, and referrals — all stay free with no changes.

Features that require a paid plan

The following features will require Plus or Pro after launch. If you're currently using any of them on a Free account, you'll receive an email warning before the launch date so you can decide whether to upgrade or turn them off.

  • Pro: Booking requests, back-to-back discount, travel surcharge, deposits, treatment packages, client memberships, discount codes, bulk messaging, intake form builder, SOAP AI dictation, marketplace listing, email reminders
  • Plus: Gift cards, loyalty milestones, events, SMS reminders, revenue dashboard

What gets grandfathered

Existing records are never deleted. If you're on the Free plan at launch and you have treatment packages, memberships, gift cards, discount codes, loyalty milestones, events, or intake forms, they will continue to work for your existing clients indefinitely — you just won't be able to create new ones without upgrading.

Booking requests grace window

If your account uses booking requests and is moved to Free at launch, you'll have a 30-day grace window to approve or decline any pending appointment requests. After the grace window, new bookings switch back to instant confirmation automatically.

How to prepare

Visit Settings → Upcoming changes to see a personalised list of features you're currently using that will require a paid plan. Each feature has a direct link to turn it off, or you can upgrade to keep everything running without interruption.

You'll also receive email warnings at 14 days, 7 days, and 1 day before launch if you have active paid features on a Free account.

Founding Member rewards

Therapists who joined during the beta period and built a real practice on MassageHub will receive a Founding Member reward — free Plus access for 6, 9, or 12 months depending on their tier. These rewards are calculated automatically at launch and applied to your account.
