Questions

Is MassageHub HIPAA compliant?

MassageHub isn't built for insurance billing and we don't sign Business Associate Agreements, so it isn't for HIPAA covered entities. Most massage therapists who are paid directly by clients aren't covered entities. Client records are encrypted, and US intake forms ask clients for consent before collecting health information.

Do you charge transaction fees?

No. Card payments go through your own Stripe account at Stripe's standard rates, and MassageHub takes nothing on top. You pay one flat monthly price.

Can my clients get text reminders?

Not yet in the US. Clients get email confirmations and reminders, and you can get app notifications. Text reminders are coming.

Which time zones do you support?

Eastern, Central, Mountain, Arizona, Pacific, Alaska and Hawaii. You pick yours when you sign up, and every booking, email and calendar time uses it.

Is MassageHub available in every state?

Everywhere except Washington, Nevada and Connecticut, which have their own consumer health-data laws. If you practise there, join the waitlist and we'll email you when we open.
